An Iraqi oilfield services company combining local expertise, operational resources and specialist partnerships.
Driller Co. for General Trading & Oil Service Ltd. is an Iraqi company headquartered in Basrah, providing oilfield services, project management, technical support, materials supply and logistics solutions. Our commercial activities began in 2006, followed by formal incorporation in 2008. Our capabilities draw on the founder’s experience in the Iraqi oil sector since 2001 and the development of our teams, facilities and partnerships.
Our vision is to become a trusted Iraqi provider of integrated oilfield services, recognized for local expertise and dependable delivery. Our mission is to support clients with safe, efficient and coordinated services, combining experienced people, operational resources and specialist partnerships.
Approximately 80 Iraqi personnel support engineering, technical operations, administration, transportation and field activities. Safety, quality, client focus, teamwork, integrity and continuous improvement guide our work.
Driller Co. coordinates project management, drilling fluids, waste management and local logistics. Cooperation with Burgan in Kuwait supports rig capability, while Al Majal in Iraq contributes complementary well services, equipment and technical support. Specialist training cooperation includes Entrack in the United Kingdom. Availability, responsibilities and service participation are confirmed for each project.
Our management-system development and certification program began in 2011. Our approach includes risk assessment, JSA, permit-to-work coordination, competency development, quality control, incident reporting, audits and corrective action. The management-system framework covers ISO 9001, ISO 29001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001; certificate scopes and validity are documented in our supporting credentials.
Industry registrations and qualification relationships include ISNetworld, SAP Ariba, Rumaila Operating Organisation and the Basrah Chamber of Commerce. Each is distinct from management-system certification.
Before the company’s incorporation, founder Mr. Muneer M. Hadi managed a 50-well workover campaign at West Qurna in 2006, involving two Burgan workover rigs and an entirely Iraqi team, in cooperation with Weatherford under a Parsons-supported program. This is founding-team experience, separate from the company’s subsequent project record.
Our development priorities include Iraqi workforce competency, local supply capabilities and evaluation of rig acquisition and leasing opportunities. Planned rig investments are separate from our existing equipment resources.
